Electronic Cigarette Report – Part 8 of an A to Z Guide to E Cigs
Welcome to part of 8 of our alphabetic guide to the electronic cigarette.
We still have some way to go as we spent the last two chapters looking at the word "legal" regarding the electronic cigarette but the plan is to look at subjects such as money and nicotine in this chapter. Of course, you are welcome to read all the previous chapters of the Electronic Cigarette Report if you wish to take the series from the beginning.
One of the most common questions asked when inquires are made about the e cigarette is, "how much does it cost?" This is perhaps a universal question asked about most things, but the subject of money is all the more relevant when the world is in the middle of an unprecedented financial crisis.
There are of course many different distributors of the electronic cigarette and as we have seen in previous chapters, also various different brands and models of the product. However, one thing that does seem to be common across the board is that smoking e cigarettes works out significantly less expensive than smoking regular tobacco cigarettes.
Many companies claim that as much and in some cases more than 70% can be saved when making the switch from tobacco to electronic. It seems then, that in these difficult and dark financial days that, electronic cigarette smokers will at least be saving some money.
Nicotine, as we have discussed is a present ingredient in most e cigarette products (although a nicotine free cartridge can be used if required) and is generally available in high, medium and low strengths. The other ingredients in the device are propylene glycol, water, flavoring and a membrane which is used to suspend the ingredients.
It is the responsibility of the manufacturers and distributors to regularly test their product ingredients to make sure it is the safest it can be and after testing, to take on board any recommendations they might need to make to improve the product even more.
During such tests it appears to have been concluded by electronic cigarette distributors that the device and the ingredients contained within are indeed significantly safer than those used in a traditional tobacco cigarette.
It is crucial that an electronic cigarette report is carried out to arrive at these conclusions and for the reports to be transparent and fully available for public viewing.
