Question: What is the least i could expect to pay overall for adding another room onto a storage shed?

I'm looking to add somewhere around 42- 50 sq. feet of space, it would be separate from the main structure but connected with a door. What's an ideal amount of money to save for materials alone, without factoring in labor costs yet? Forget I said separate structure, what I'm looking to do is to essentially add another room onto it.

What type of foundation, how thick are the walls, will it be insulated, will there be any windows, what will be stored in there, what part of the country are you in, do you have access to Craigslist...?

My guess would be 20 to 35 dollars a square foot.

Around $700 without footings. Around $1200 with footings.
